Bring your children to ‘Howl’ in Hillside! Great Wolf Lodge is partnering with the Hillside Art, Music & Food Festival to create a children’s play area ‘Howling Pups’. The festival, will be held in the
historic Hillside neighborhood. Elia Baltes, Community Development Director, DASH, says; the event was created and led by residents with DASH and local merchants, that are passionate about locally created art, music and food. The DASH mission is to be a catalyst for community revitalization that transforms the lives of families and individuals by providing opportunities thatfocus on dependable, affordable, sustainable housing and active community leadership. Entering its fifth year, in 2018, the festival had nearly forty vendors, a musical line-up, some of the best restaurants and over 300 festival goers, and even more expected this year; the Hillside Festival is the place to be. The festival’s theme “Hometown Fair” offers opportunities to be entertained by music, grab a bite to eat and purchase a beautiful piece of artwork or handmade item.” Maggie McDonald with Pure Life Studios will have people dancing in the street by bringing some of the local, and college talent, such as; Jay Ellie, Michael Conrad Johnson, Pascals Wager, Noelle Reed with LaGrange Piano, Jock Webb, Front Porch Collective and more. Are you an artist or food vendor? If so, there’s still time to be part of the annual Hillside Art, Music & Food Festival. For more information on becoming a vendor or sponsor, contact Elia Baltes email@example.com or 706-298-0582.
