Greenwave Brings a Smile to Local Residents

Greenwaves have hit the streets. Hogansville Elementary faculty and staff gathered together for a greenwave parade. They had more than 40 cars full of teachers and staff. They rode thru the community for two hours just to see as many of their kids as they could. They even had a police escort. According to April Sanford, “It was one of those moments that you wish you could bottle up and keep with you forever.”

What a treat this was for students and parents alike. Teachers are missing their students, and it is quite obvious that the students are missing their teachers. Way to go everyone for trying to give out smiles in a time of uncertainty.
